Core Responsibilities
- **Ticket Sales & Distribution**: Sell, exchange, and distribute tickets for various events using a computerized ticketing system.
- **Customer Service**: Greet customers, answer inquiries in person and over the phone, and resolve issues to provide excellent customer service.
- **Information & Sales Support**: Provide information about events, promotions, and seating options.
- **Administrative Duties**: Prepare daily cash reports, balance cash drawers, update event information, and manage guest lists.
- **System Operations**: Operate ticketing terminals, handle internet bookings, and assist with troubleshooting minor system issues.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- **Customer Service**: Friendly, positive, and confident attitude with strong communication skills.
- **Computer Proficiency**: Experience with computerized ticketing system.
- **Cash Handling**: Competence in handling cash transactions.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work efficiently.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to match event schedules.
Reporting Structure
- Box office assistants typically report to a Box Office Manager.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
