**Your Role**

1080 is seeking a detail oriented and experienced proposal and marketing coordinator with a passion for writing, organizing and editing ideas for business communications and proposals.

The position is full-time, in-person preferred.

**What You Will Do**:
Proposal Development
- Lead the full lifecycle of proposals - from opportunity review and strategy to final submission.
- Write and edit clear, concise, and engaging proposal content tailored to client goals and RFP requirements.
- Coordinate input from technical teams, leadership, and collaborators to develop comprehensive responses.
- Maintain and update content, resumes, project sheets, and other proposal assets.
- Ensure proposals are compliant, on-brand, visually appealing, and delivered on time.

Marketing + Communications
- Assist with the development of social media content, presentations, website updates, and project awards.
- Maintain internal databases of proposals, project imagery, and marketing collateral.
- Research client background, industry trends, and strategic pursuits to inform positioning.
- Help evolve the firm’s voice through storytelling and thought leadership content.

**Your Qualifications**

Required:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in proposal writing, marketing, or communications.
- Strong business writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible in approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop).

Preferred:

- Knowledge of the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.
- Experience with public sector RFPs, particularly in Canada.
- Familiarity with APMP best practices and proposal management methodologies.
- Portfolio of past proposals or writing samples.
- Experience with CRM or proposal tracking systems
