Pacific Fertility is hiring a **Full-Time, New Patient Intake Coordinator** located at our **Burnaby** location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receives and processes patient referrals for multiple clinics and enters them into the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner.
- Ensures complete and accurate documentation, including demographics, healthcare information and charting of interactions.
- Reviews details and expectations to patients regarding their appointment and provides the appropriate testing requisitions as per protocol.
- Provides appropriate non-medical, clinic information to patients and offers them appointment(s) accordingly.
- Answers telephone calls promptly; triages calls and answers inquiries, relays messages; refers callers to appropriate person or area.
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information.
- Plans and directs daily tasks to maximize efficiency and achieve booking timeline goals.
- Must also be familiar with the procedures of all other areas such as reception, IUI desk, IVF desk, procedure room etc.

**E**ducation and/or Experience**:

- A diploma in Healthcare Services and/or minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare environment.
- Working in an women’s health or reproductive environment is an asset.
- Strong administrative/computer skills
- Strong communication skills
