Hughes Intelligence was established in 1994 and is located in Sarnia, Ontario. We adhere to the highest standards of security guard training, business security services, private investigation and more.

We are currently recruiting **Resident Safety Personnel **to join our growing team providing 1:1 support, assisting with High Intensity Needs residents in Long Term Care settings.

We are currently seeking individuals for **full-time** hours

**Paid training includes**:

- Infection Control, COVID-19 screening & testing
- Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA)
- Responding to Responsive Behaviours in Long Term Care

**Resident Safety Personnel responsibilities**:

- Assist with High Intensity Needs Residents in Long Term Care settings on a 1:1 basis
- Monitoring resident behavior, redirecting as needed
- Assist with screening measures such as asking specific screening questions and other measures that may be implemented
- Take temperatures for the staff/visitors who enter the client's property
- Providing impeccable customer service

**Resident Safety Personnel requirements**:

- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR certification **(Must be from a Red Cross trained organization)**:

- Must pass Vulnerable Police Check (VPC) **(REQUIRED)**:

- 3 COVID-19 Vaccinations (required in LTC)
- Valid Driver's License **(REQUIRED)**:

- Own vehicle or reliable method of transportation **(REQUIRED)**:

- Willing to travel out of Sarnia for locations such as Petrolia, Wallaceburg & Chatham
- Previous experience within Long Term Care or working with the elderly is an asset
- Full availability including nights, days, afternoons, weekends & statutory holidays, 8 to 10 hour shifts
- Proactive, attention-to-detail, self-motivated, team players

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.00 per hour
