**Job Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of VoIP and data services.
- Configure, install, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points (e.g., Ubiquiti, MikroTik).
- Deploy and manage VoIP systems (e.g., Grandstream, Yealink, 3CX) and troubleshoot SIP-related issues.
- Support virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) used for hosting VoIP servers and network services.
- Implement network hardening techniques including VLANs, ACLs, port security, and endpoint protection.
- Assist in designing and deploying network and VoIP solutions within cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure.
- Manage server connectivity and storage solutions in support of data center operations.
- Document all network configurations, updates, and troubleshooting procedures for internal reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure best practices in networking and VoIP.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems relevant to networking and VoIP environments.
- Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic.
- Experience with diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex network and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with firewalls, routing, VPNs, VLANs, and secure remote access configurations.
- Hands-on experience with FTP, DHCP, DNS, and other core network services.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how it applies to network operations.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Certifications (Preferred/Considered Assets)**:

- **CompTIA A+**:

- **Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)**:

- **Palo Alto Certified Network Administrator (PCNA)**:

- **Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)**:
