**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **General Manager** to lead our operations, drive strategic growth, and ensure NATS Nursery continues to thrive as a cornerstone of the native plant industry. This is an exceptional opportunity to combine business leadership with environmental stewardship.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Leadership**: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth and profitability goals.
- **Operational Oversight**: Manage day-to-day operations including production, sales, logistics, and customer service.
- **Team Development**: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of horticultural professionals and support staff.
- **Financial Management**: Oversee budgets, financial planning, and reporting to ensure sustainable profitability.
- **Customer & Community Engagement**: Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the ecological restoration and landscaping sectors with a significant focus on Indigenous partners and Nations.
- **Innovation & Sustainability**: Champion sustainable practices and explore new opportunities in native plant production and green infrastructure.

**Qualifications**
- Proven leadership experience in horticulture, agriculture, or related industries with direct reports of at least 10 managers and a total of 40+ employees
- Strong business acumen with experience in operations, finance, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for native plants, ecological restoration, and sustainability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal business environment.
- Post-secondary education in business, horticulture, or a related field is an asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
