We specialize in smart devices, tablets, windows, and mac repair. We are looking for a self-starter with experience in customer service, testing and repairing computers including Desktops and laptops.

We are currently looking for a full-time **Technician**

**Computer Technician Responsibilities**:
Actively work with our clients both at our location and onsite at client locations to help them solve their IT problems.

Troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair of Desktops and Laptops.

Backup and Restore computers to original factory settings.

Install hardware, software, and device drivers on standalone computers

Working with clients to ensure understanding of their technology.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Install, repair, and replace Desktop and Laptop parts both Microsoft and Apple.
- Make customer work orders.
- Hand on experience of computer repairing is a plus.
- Experience in the retail environment is an asset.
- Excellent ability to solve problems using an in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
- Be a team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time and able to excel in high-pressure situations.
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices.
- Have a valid drivers license and own transportation
- there will be some on-call work required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brockville, ON K6V 1W6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
