We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Funeral Assistant | Night Transfer Staff member to join our team on a part-time casual basis. This position involves providing essential support during night hours, including the transfer of the deceased. Assisting on Funeral Services, Visitations, and may be called in for other various tasks. Employees will be called in on an as-needed basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responding to calls and transferring deceased individuals from various locations to the funeral home.
- Assisting with funeral services, including driving company vehicles and supporting funeral directors as needed.
- Providing compassionate and respectful care to families during their time of need.
- Ensuring proper handling of the deceased.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of vehicles and transfer equipment.
- Supporting funeral directors and other staff with various tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid G class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transporting deceased individuals.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a funeral home setting is an asset but not required.
- Availability to work night shifts and be on-call for transfers on an as-needed basis.
