**Summary**

We are currently seeking motivated Early Learning Child Care Educators to join our team as a **Early Learning Child Care Educator** for Full-Time Positions.

This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions:

- Plan, organize, document and implement programming inclusive of: indoor/outdoor gross motor activities, art, science, music, multicultural etc.
- Assess the developmental level of children
- Actively supervise children in care in compliance with behaviour guidance policies.
- Creating learning stories and utilizing the curriculum framework in day to day activities with children.
- Communicate daily with families at drop off time.
- Be engaging with children and support their engagement in activities.
- Be an active participant within a team environment.
- Program Planning based on Curriculum Framework/ Open Ended/Loose Parts/Reggio Approach
- Prepare Himama reports and discuss with parents
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities
- Must be able to articulate and model professional child care practice
- Ensure the delivery of quality licensed childcare center
- Adhere to the Accreditation standards
- Assisting with housekeeping duties
- Maintain daycare supplies and equipment
- Ability to multi task while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to problem solving and make decisions
- Create a safe, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.
- Team building skills with an emphasis on collaboration, communication and coordination

Skills And Abilities:
First aid/CPR training

Security and Safety -Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search prior to start date

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) - Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree

Knowledge of Curriculum Framework/Flight
