**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food preparation is done in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Plate desserts in the evning during service time
- Prep baked goods to be baked in the cafe the following morning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours

**Skills**
- Proficient in food preparation techniques with a focus on baking.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within the kitchen environment.
- Experience in the food industry with a background in customer service is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safe preparation and storage of ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency in flavor and appearance of all baked goods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
