**Position Overview**
This opportunity is with a **TAI**, a subsidiary of RGA. **TAI **provides the complete software and service suite of solutions for life companies to self-report all reinsurance business; ceded or retroceded in an electronic format to share with your reinsurance partners.

**Responsibilities**
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- As a **Senior Reinsurance Analyst**, you will:

- Own and drive the administration of our services.
- Work as part of the team, and take a lead role in the timely and accurate completion of projects, including data analysis and documentation.
- Ensure quality assurance - through the highest quality of work that meets and exceeds client expectations is performed. This includes:

- Ensure data quality on administration systems.
- Perform retention and exception reporting; looking into root causes and policies.
- Maintain the SLAs with the clients.
- Support running of monthly and quarterly administration cycles by reviewing and processing cycle exceptions and reviewing reporting output.
- Respond to ad hoc internal or reinsurer requests.
- Mentor and lead - train junior analysts on business knowledge.
- Grow your career as we grow. You will quickly increase the depth and breadth of your reinsurance knowledge. You will:

- Participate in projects as required including data analysis and documentation.
- Implement reinsurance business processes and best practices.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Math or Sciences, Mathematics, Finance or Computer Science. Willingness to pursue your ARA designation.

The Experience:

- 3+ years of insurance operations.
- Have expertise in recognizing systemic trending issues and data anomalies within large data sets.
- Have exposure to project management concepts and practices.
- The Industry Knowledge.
- Have familiarity with various life insurance products written in the North American market
- Basic insurance principles.
- Reinsurance administration and treaties.
- The technical - and data - skills.
- Hands-on experience accessing and manipulating data with Excel, SQL and Access.
- Experience in using the TAI administration system
- The relationship-building skills.
- You have outstanding verbal and written skills.
- You know how to work with any level of internal or external clients.
- You enjoy conducting research, digging deep and breaking down problems, and innovating solutions..
- You are approachable, energetic, enthusiastic, curious, and funny. You are a team player, a collaborator, and an independent thinker.
