**The Opportunity**:
**Essential Job Functions**
- 7 days a week coverage across 2 resources (shifts to be determined).
- iROC Technician may be deployed **underground** for support as needed.
- Meet the client expectations for delivered IT services, with appropriate communication and focus on cost management and issue tracking.
- Support the Business Partner and EUC team to continually look for opportunities to improve current EUC services and processes.
- Provide mobile support for end users for tablets and phones.
- Support complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting to determine and resolve the root cause of most hardware or software malfunctions at the Mobility Level
- Perform troubleshooting to determine and resolve the root cause of other iROC related IT infrastructure issues underground.
- Provide onsite and remote support.
- Carry out survey for LTE infrastructure and assist in map updating.
- Carry out survey for Beacon/LA infrastructure and assist in document updating.
- Troubleshoot and identify wiring issue (Power delivery to devices from vehicle)
- Reboot devices as needed.
- Configure and swap out devices as needed.
- Troubleshoot other infrastructure issues
- Provide knowledge transfer to operators on use of device as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Polycom related issues.
- Carry out inventory checks on related equipment on surface.
- Training of incoming technicians

**Basic Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience supporting a technical environment.

**Other Qualifications**
- Proven success in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver IT services.
- Demonstrate ability to follow up on issues independently and ensure they are resolved promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Able to analyze technical issues and think critically to provide recommendations.
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
- Strong initiative and effective ownership of task management
- Knowledgeable of the Android OS
- Knowledge with KNOX Mobile Security would be an asset.

**This role is onsite in Sudbury, Ontario**
