Community Engagement Coordinator

As coordinator of the Seniors Day Out Program you bring a passion for enhancing the lives of seniors in the Chatham-Kent community. You place a strong emphasis on fostering new and strengthening existing relationships with seniors and our like-minded partners. You cultivate a positive and supportive atmosphere by recognizing volunteer efforts, and assisting volunteers with their endeavours to grow the Seniors Day Out Program.
**Responsibilities**:
- Grow and implement the Seniors Day Out Program, an adult day program serving Chatham-Kent.
- Work alongside the Community and Client Relations Manager to develop and implement a community outreach plan.
- Create awareness and support for the program and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
- Actively identifying and exploring partnerships with community partners/organizations to expand the strategic vision.
- Develop effective communication strategies to expand and grow the program.
- Creating, designing and executing social media marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Post Secondary Degree or diploma in social sciences is preferred but not required.
- Experience in the field of Gerontology or Activation (or equivalent) an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- A valid Class “G” driver’s license in good standing is required as is a reliable vehicle to use on corporate business.
**Health Screening Requirements**:
Each member of staff must have a:
- 2 step TB test
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19
