**Administrative Assistant - Verathon**®**:
**Verathon**®** is looking for an Administrative Assistant to become the newest member of our team located in Burnaby, Canada.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Answer calls, collect and distribute mail, greet guests with a friendly attitude.
- Communicate with staff, vendors, building maintenance and visitors, and acts as a resource for general inquiries and information.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access
- Place orders for office, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Arrange for general office cleaning and maintenance
- Assist the Health & Safety and Social Committees with administrative work
- Proactively contribute to and implement continuous improvement initiatives around the office.
- Provide support as directed for events, including department team building events, and Verathon Canada activities.
- Contribute to a variety of ongoing projects e.g., office expansion, activities and miscellaneous projects.
- Provide administrative support to assigned leaders

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to learn new skills.
- Post-secondary education in administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an office administration role.
