We are seeking an experienced **Sales Representative** to join our team. If you have a passion for fresh produce and have a solid background in produce sales, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, and ensuring our clients receive the best products and services available.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the wholesale produce sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence.
- Provide customers with product information, pricing, and availability.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure product quality and availability.
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
**Required Experience & Skills**:
- **Minimum 2 years of experience in produce sales or a similar field**:
- Strong understanding of fresh produce, including seasonality, quality standards, and sourcing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-driven and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (for client visits)
