Due to the success of our growing airports portfolio in the Greater Toronto Area, we are hiring for a Natural Systems Specialist to join our growing team. The Specialist will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of complex projects within the organization, ensuring that they are executed according to scope, schedule, cost, quality standards, and risk management protocols_. _The incumbents require a wealth of experience in managing large infrastructure projects, particularly in the context of international airport development or other similar complex programs.

**Location: Toronto, ON**

**Your role within the team**:

- Supports natural environment programs, including tree-planting, wildlife management, plant management, and species at risk.
- Work closely with other Senior Project Managers and Construction Managers to assist the Program Lead in delivering project objectives.
- Partner with the Program Lead to track contractor performance, addressing any issues and escalating decisions when necessary.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and obtain required consultations and approvals.
- Work with the contractor to secure essential permits, approvals, and consents while managing site logistics to support smooth project execution.
- Oversee the completion of work in accordance with scope, timelines, costs, quality standards, and risk management protocols.

- Typically, a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the environment, energy, or sustainable design sector, with and understanding of natural environments in an urban setting.
- Experience delivering sustainability outcomes in the infrastructure sector on large complex programs is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and deliver complex projects and programs successfully.
