Our client has an urgent requirement for a Database Administrator

1. 5+ years of hands on experience with Oracle Installation - database upgrades/migrations

2. 5+ years of hands on experience with Database creation and upgrade of Oracle database versions 12c & 19c

3. 5+ years of hands on experience with RAC (Real Application Cluster) - setup, configure and support

4. 5+ years of hands on experience with Automatic Storage Management (ASM) - setup, configure and support

5. 5+ years of hands on experience with Data Guard - database replication tools, setup, configure and support

6. 5+ years of hands on experience with Database performance and tuning

7. Ability to provide 24x7 production support - rotational shift 1 week a month

8. Familiar with OEM/Grid Control (13c) - please specify in what capacity and in which past employer

9. Familiar with Oracle Exadata - please specify in what capacity and in which past employer

Nice to Have:

- Familiar with Security and Auditing
- Oracle Golden Gate
- Database setup in a Cloud environment
- Oracle Certifications
- Experience working with executives

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Oracle DBA: 5 years (preferred)
- Microsoft SQL Server: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- MCSA (preferred)
- Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (preferred)
