Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets and plates according to specifications.

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend metal sheets and plates
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and back gauge position
- Load material into the machine and position it correctly
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
- Perform quality inspections to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain proper alignment and precision
- Troubleshoot issues with the machine or tooling and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of press brake operations
- Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Experience with programming press brake machines is a plus
- Familiarity with other machining processes such as plasma cutting is beneficial
- Ability to operate forklifts or cranes for material handling purposes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
