- **We are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to join our busy team.**_

Reports to: Finance Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Reconcile and analyze a wide array of balance sheets and P&L accounts
- Support the annual budget and rolling P&L forecasting processes
- Support monthly results reporting through investigation and quantification of gaps to expectation
- Support continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
- Assist with the execution of full cycle (monthly, quarterly, annually) accounting processes and account reconciliations for all sites
- Review and assist in the establishment and maintenance of a robust internal control and compliance environment to ensure safeguarding of company assets
- Track, reconcile, and analyze purchase orders from creation through receipt and invoicing
- Ensure PO compliance with budgets, approvals, and internal control requirements
- Maintain accurate vendor, PO, and cost data within the ERP system
- Investigate discrepancies between POs, invoices, and receipts and coordinate resolution with operations and vendors
- Actively leverage ERP reporting tools to extract, analyze, and validate financial data
- Support inventory tracking and assist with accounts payable duties such as invoice/statement review
- Other duties and special projects, as required

**Qualifications**:

- Recent graduate enrolled in CPA program in pursuit of designation or proven equivalent experience
- Strong experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience tracking and reconciling purchase orders within an ERP environment
- Experience supporting month-end close and preparing financial statements
- Detail oriented with strong work ethic
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated and results oriented who is positive, energetic and willing to take initiative
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Intermediate to advanced Excel user including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, complex formulas, etc.

**Working Conditions**:

- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Long periods of sitting
