**The Opportunity**:
Under the direction of the Warranty Supervisor, the Field Service Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance to AGI Westeel fertilizer bins, hopper bottoms, and other agricultural products. Working out of a service vehicle and the Saskatoon manufacturing plant, the Field Service Technician regularly travels to customer sites where they assist in welding, painting, and servicing AGI products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist welders and painters in the field as they perform repairs on permanent commercial and non-commercial fertilizer and grain storage and handling products
- Safe operation, maintenance, and inventory management of a service vehicle
- Use all tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Create work orders and complete repair documentation
- Interact with customers when required
- Interpret parts catalogues and order parts necessary for repairs
- Assist in product assembly processes when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment, to like new appearance, according to maintenance plans and established procedures
- Perform moderately heavy physical work
- Provide a positive attitude, excellent attendance and a strong work ethic
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Two or more years of agriculture repair or manufacturing experience
- Clean driving abstract and valid driver’s license
- Experience working safely near moving machinery or hazardous areas
- Familiarity with hand tools used in welding and painting
- A willingness to work unconventional hours when required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
