**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Skilled Labourer (Utility Installer) reports to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities. Majority of the work takes place in outdoor environments.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working **5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day**.
- **Manual labour **to support underground utility installation.
- **Load and unload construction materials, and move materials** to work areas
- **Dig, backfill, and clean out trenches.**:

- Ability to operate equipment such as Skid Steer, Loader, Excavator or Rubber Tire Backhoe or **willing **to learn.
- **Complete ongoing maintenance **of work area, trenches and equipment, ensuring clean and safe operations.
- **Perform miscellaneous laboring activities** to support the installation of underground utilities.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Experience working in a Skilled Labourer position.**:

- **Gas Fusing experience **considered an asset.
- **Swamper experience** considered an asset.
- **Electrical experience** considered an asset.
- Class **5** Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift **75lbs**.
- Be able to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
- Willing to work outdoors.
