**Shifts: Days/Evenings/Nights including Weekends**
**Rate of pay: $37.478 - $47.745 per hour**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform assessments, case management, and counselling services for individuals facing substance abuse issues within the youth population.
- Conduct informative presentation to youth, families, and community partners regarding addiction services, prevention, and available resources.
- Work closely with the Youth Treatment team to provide comprehensive addiction services, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with the community organizations to address the specific needs of vulnerable populations.
- Potential involvement in both outpatient and live-in treatment programs within Sister Margaret Smith Centre.
- Primary work during regular business hours with occasional evening and weekend programming.

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor of Social Work degree or equivalent from an accredited University
- Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- A minimum of three years of clinical work experience with youth facing substance use difficulties.
- Direct experience in crisis intervention, intense group work, and case management.
- Knowledge of substance abuse theory, harm reduction models, and related mental health issues.
- Strong oral and written cummunication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Understanding of Indigenous Culture and Northern communities.
- Training or demonstrated understanding of trauma and crisis intervention models is an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A valid Ontario Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract.
- Demonstrated consistent attendance at work.

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
