**About the workplace**

Vancity’s head office is situated on the territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As Executive VP (EVP) of Inclusive Banking and Sustainable Wealth lines of business, you will champion retail and wealth strategies with a steadfast commitment to social impact, centered around Vancity’s four pillars: co-operatives and community, climate, equity and reconciliation, and affordable housing. This role is responsible for leading Retail and Wealth Management business segments, shaping how Vancity will drive value differentiation to clients in alignment with our competitive advantage.

This role will lead the design and delivery of new business and go-to-market strategies to meet the needs of our diverse members and communities. In doing so, this leadership position plays a critical role in identifying, developing, and aligning the capabilities, tools, and resources across the credit union needed to bring those strategies to life, resulting in an exceptional client experience that is both tailored and scalable. Additionally, this role will provide leadership in the design of market segments and is responsible for the financial health and performance of the Retail and Wealth Management business segments. Above all, this leader will be an exemplary role model in inclusive and growth-minded leadership, inspiring diversity, innovation, and development within the team and across Vancity.

**Your key responsibilities involve**:
**1. Inclusive Banking Strategy**
- Lead the creation and implementation of an inclusive banking strategy that generates strong growth for Vancity in retail banking and wealth markets, strong profitability and return on investment, which differentiates based on a commitment to promote access to financial products and services for communities historically marginalized or underserved, including Indigenous peoples, newcomers, low-income households, and people living with disabilities.
- Identify and address systemic barriers to financial inclusion through culturally safe approaches that prioritize dignity and respect for all members.
- Engage regularly with Vancity members to ensure their voices are heard and their feedback is used to shape banking products and services that meet their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to co-create solutions that respond to the diverse needs of the communities Vancity serves.

**2. Sustainable Wealth Management**
- Develop and lead wealth management services that integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, ensuring responsible investment and financial strategies that align with the well-being of people and the planet.
- Promote sustainable wealth creation through financial tools that empower individuals, families, and communities to achieve long-term economic security while contributing to positive social and environmental impacts.
- Champion innovative approaches to wealth advisory services that reflect the diverse values, cultural identities, and financial goals of Vancity’s members.
- Regularly engage with members to ensure wealth management services are aligned with their evolving needs and priorities, incorporating member feedback into the development of sustainable wealth solutions.
- Develop the retail and wealth management strategies to support member growth, with careful assessment of key partnerships like Aviso and Clarington to optimize in-house versus outsourced services.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and communications teams to raise awareness of Vancity’s commitment to responsible investing and sustainable wealth solutions

**3. Member Engagement**
- Act as the voice of the retail and wealth member at the ELT, ensuring that member needs, feedback, and priorities are central to decision-making.
- Regularly engage with Vancity members to gather insights into their evolving financial needs, ensuring that products and services are aligned with their expectations.
