**Position**: Full-Container Dispatch Assistant
**Employment Type**: Permanent, Full-Time
**Location**: Brampton, ON
**Address**: 420 Parkhurst Sq, Brampton, ON L6T 5W1
**Compensation**: $45,000 - $50,000 annually (based on experience)

**Benefits**: Comprehensive benefits package after 3 months
**Shift**: Monday-Friday (rotating weekends), shifts between 6:00 a.m
- 2:30pm. Or 10:00a.m - 6:30pm

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan daily loads and driver coverage based on customer appointments and schedules.
- Dispatch drivers according to delivery requirements and appointment times.
- Monitor and oversee day-to-day fleet operations.
- Resolve operational issues (e.g., breakdowns, delays, wait times, driver coverage).
- Perform accurate and timely data entry.
- Track container movements on CN/CP Rail websites.
- Book, update, and manage reservations for containers at CN Rail.
- Schedule and confirm customer appointments.
- Support problem-solving and general office administration.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Minimum **1 year of dispatch experience**, including CN/CP reservation booking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Previous logistics experience considered an asset.
- Typing speed of **60+ words per minute** (testing may be required).
- Proficient in **MS Excel** and able to learn and adapt to internal software systems.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable team player with initiative and a strong work ethic.
