**Job Description - Vehicle Equipment Coordinator**
**Position Summary**:
Devon Transport takes pride in providing clean and well-maintained vehicles for every rental. The staff at the Long-Term Lease department ensure that all vehicles are rented in good condition with no damage. This department maintains long-term rental contracts and manages a specific fleet of vehicles before, during and after rental. The staff are responsible for equipping vehicles, clean and repair for rental and upon return. As a Vehicle Equipment Coordinator, you will work with the team to manage the logistics and long term rental fleet across the province.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Wash vehicle Returned from rentals - exterior and interior - to a high standard
- Ensure thorough and detailed inspections performed on all returned vehicles
- Take photos of vehicles prior to and after rental
- Manage large fleet for multiple vehicle account rentals
- Maintain records of repair and/or replacement
- Identify and record new and existing damage
- Work with team members to prioritize vehicle needs based on customer demand
- Assist with vehicle maintenance as scheduled
- Assist in other office duties as designated by Manager
- Assist with updating information and stay appraised of rental forecasts
- Be flexible and adaptable to ever changing customer needs
- Have an open mind and eagerness to always be learning
- Engage with systems for upcoming rentals
- Assist with paperwork and organization as needed
- Ongoing inventory of equipment and products
- Some invoicing and billing
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Driver's License _**(Minimum BC Class 5 required)**_
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to operate basic cleaning tools
- Previous Detailing Experience considered an asset
- General Automotive Knowledge is considered an asset
- Basic repair experience considered an asset
**Skills**
- Excellent listening and communication Skills
- Ability to prioritize using critical thinking and external inputs
- Organization and time management are a must
- Ability to work in a fast-past environment
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes
- Attention to detail
- Fore casting skills to maximize workflow efficiency
- Basic computer skills
