Are you a process-minded professional ready to take your manufacturing or construction experience to the next level? We’re looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to join our Quality department and lead initiatives that strengthen the foundation of our precast concrete operations.
In this role, you’ll not only optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies—you’ll also guide and supervise our Quality Control team within a unionized environment. Whether you’re an experienced Quality professional or eager to learn, we’ll provide the training you need to become an expert in precast concrete quality systems.
This full-time permanent position will be primarily based in Agassiz, BC.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Work closely with Quality and Operations to identify and implement process improvements.
- Use data to analyze trends and improve product and process reliability.
- Help reduce rework, non-conformances, and improve flow across the Plant.
- Lead improvement projects that boost quality and performance
- Supervise and support our dedicated Quality Control team
- Collaborate across departments to identify and solve problems
- Champion our culture of continuous improvement
**What You Bring**:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Quality, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) considered a strong asset
- Leadership capabilities, preferably in a unionized setting
- Interest in or experience with Quality Assurance/Control
- A passion for making processes smoother and smarter

AE Concrete specializes in delivering standard and custom civil precast solutions: Water, Electrical and Communication Vaults, Chambers, Trenches, Box Culverts, Street Light Bases, and a variety of custom precast solutions via our in-house engineering team. Quality of Work is very important to AE Concrete as we are a CPCQA, CSA, CWB, and COR certified precast plant. Our organization has been a leading provider of civil structures for over 30 years.
