**L'Etoile de Pacho** is a support network of parents with children with special needs who combined their knowledge and experience to help other parents in similar situations. We offer personalized support services to help parents by sharing our experiences, resources, and journey.
We are looking for a bilingual hardworking, compassionate caregiver to provide home care to 4-year-old girl with special needs at their home near the St Luc public library.
**Schedule**:
- Option 1 : Friday and Saturday from 11pm à 7am.
- Option 2 :Saturday from 11am to 7pm and 3 afternoons from 3pm to 6pm.
**Tasks description**:
- Assist with daily living activities;
- Picking up from school bus
- Assist with wheelchair transfers;
- Assist with feeding;
- Follow a previously established schedule;
- Maintain a healthy, secure, and comfortable environment;
- Use the adapted material for a different type of stimulation;
- Provide hygiene care (changing diapers, bath, etc.);
- Assist with light cleaning tasks at home
**Qualifications**:
- College diploma (DEC) in progress
- 1 to 6 months of experience in personal care or other related fields.
- A high degree of tolerance, empathy, and patience.
- Excellent opportunity for students in the following fields: Special care counseling, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and early childhood education.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.27 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- Every Weekend
