The Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library is looking for a detailed-oriented student to help with the conversion of our library collection to RFID technology.

**Workplace**:5851 boul. Cavendish, City of Côte Saint-Luc. Parking is free.

**Working Hours**:Monday to Friday from 9:30am until 5:30pm. 35 hours/week.

By becoming an employee of the City of Côte Saint-Luc, you will be employed in a city with a dynamic team that offers its employees many benefits. You will have **free access** to the community aquatic center which has a **training room**, an indoor and outdoor **pool**, **a game room, a tennis court, an ice rink and access to pedal boats** at Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park. In addition, you will have access to **the library** which has a wide variety of books, and you can rent them for free.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**

As a city employee, you will make a real difference in providing excellent service to the citizens of Côte Saint-Luc.
- Roll a mobile conversation station between library shelves removing books or audiovisual items sequentially and insert RFID tags into each library item (book, DVD, CD) using the RFID tag dispenser.
- Transfer the information encoded on the library barcode found on each item to the RFID tag.
- Reshelve the book paying particular attention to the order and take out the next book
- Reshelve any mis-shelved items.
- Undertake any other related task.

**Qualifications**
- Currently a student in the program or a DEC in Information and Library Technologies.
- Excellent oral communications in both English and French
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills

N.B. You may be required to take a competency exam.
