**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a customer focused, tech savvy, problem solver to join our **Edmonton location** in the role of **IT Support Specialist**. This customer-centric role is a key part of our service program providing quality repairs and service to our customers.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Perform support and preventative maintenance on equipment such as laptops, desktops, servers, network infrastructure, various software and cloud solutions
- Structured cabling using CAT6
- WiFi surveys and Wireless Access Point installs
- Perform on-site service calls as required within the client location
- Diagnose and trouble shoot complex system problems
- Perform service tasks such as greeting customers and perform equipment tests, contact vendors for support, initiate RMA’s
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- IT related Degree or Diploma from a recognized University or College
- Industry certifications are an asset
- Structured/Network cabling experience
- Experience in the IT industry, such as providing remote and onsite support services related to endpoints, servers, network infrastructure
- Networking experience, knowledge of routing and subnets, configuring routers and switches
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients with a strong focus on customer service
- Strong troubleshooting and report writing skills
- Self-disciplined, highly organized with the ability to multi-task and change directions quickly
- Strong focus on quality and customer service
- First Aid, Fall Arrest and other safety certifications are an asset
- Help desk/troubleshooting experience
- Bondable, valid Driver's license
