PUR is a global, impact-focused B-Corp specializing in the development of environmental restoration projects, known as 'nature-based solutions' (NbS). Since 2008, we have been helping the world’s largest organizations meet their ESG targets, reduce their environmental footprint, and regenerate the ecosystems they depend on across complex supply chains. Having developed over 45 projects in more than 30 countries, PUR is recognized as both a pioneer and leader in a sector that is now at the forefront of global efforts to address the ongoing climate and biodiversity crisis.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to fostering and operationalizing insetting strategies—interventions by companies within their own value chains designed to reduce GHG emissions while creating positive impacts for communities, landscapes, and ecosystems. All our projects are developed in close collaboration with local actors, including cooperatives, governments, and corporations.Today, we employ 200 staff across 16 countries with key offices in Paris (HQ) and Toronto.

**PUR is recruiting a Director of Marketing & Communication based in Paris or Toronto.**

**As Head of Marketing & Communications you will report directly to our C-suite and oversee our marketing, public relations and internal communication efforts.**

Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

- Building and refreshing the PUR brand to meet renewed market ambitions and support launch of new revenue streams & products;
- Designing and executing our marketing strategy:

- Managing earned and own media channels, building our press relations from scratch;
- Defining content territories and formats, managing content production relying on our internal experts;
- Leveraging our customers and implementation partners audiences and producing joint content.
- Overseeing internal communications during a period of business transformation (creating new revenue lines, adopting new systems, shifting cultural norms);
- Triage and respond to external requests for information;

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Minimum of 10 years in marketing, communication environment in B2B;
- The ambition to build a market-setting brand in nature-based solutions & regenerative agriculture;
- Creativity, energy and a problem-solving mindset: an ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment;
- Gravitas and experience to face external blue chip FMCG/CPG clients - international key clients producing coffee, cocoa amongst others;
- Knowledge of our sector and impact marketing;
- Mastery of B2B marketing strategies;
- Languages: English fluent / native, French & Spanish highly beneficial;
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment;
- Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving, and critical thinking;
- Passion for sustainability and climate impact is an asset.
