Yard Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the business in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. He/she is responsible for securing freight, inventory management, maintaining effective and efficient operations/procedures regarding logistics, inventory management, and subcontracted labour. He/she oversees all open customer orders and prioritizes based on customer needs/requirements, aiming to provide impeccable customer service in a cost efficient manner. He/she works closely with the Operations Manager and helps to execute operations plans and meet operations related targets in the Western Canada region.
- Main point of contact for Titan sales representatives and valued customers for all logistics/operations requirements in Western Canada
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, carriers and colleagues
- Oversee open sales orders and coordinate shipping plans with sales representatives and operations manager
- Secure and coordinate freight for domestic (Western Canada) and international shipments to meet customer needs/requirements
- Track shipments by following up with carriers and relaying real-time information to customers regarding freight pick-ups and deliveries
- Enter shipping data into the system, generate freight confirmations, customs documentation, and process freight invoices
- Handle all requests for freight quotations and negotiate with carriers to ensure the best rates are secured
- Oversee and organize shipments for all Western Canada purchases and collect coordinating MTR's. Also oversee all surplus opportunities in Western Canada
- Work with our subcontractor(s) to ensure that all processing requirements are met in a timely fashion, are of acceptable quality, and on budget
- Maintain physical inventory in Western Canada, including inventory counts and reconciliations, collecting photos, answering questions asked by customers if information above and beyond what is in the system is being requested.
- Daily operations report for Western Canada
- Ordering yard supplies including gravel, contours/dunnage, paint sticks, office supplies, etc.

**Salary**: $1.00-$10.00 per year
