Nutrition Manager

As the **Nutrition Manager**, you’ll be responsible for developing, managing, and promoting nutrition-related programs and services at our Esquimalt store. You’ll work closely with both team members and customers, offering education, product guidance, and personalized support. From building informative displays to consulting on dietary needs and reviewing product offerings, you’ll play a vital role in helping people make confident, healthy choices every day.

**About the role**:

- You’ll train, manage, and motivate a team to ensure efficiency and productivity
- You’ll support in daily scheduling needs and coordination
- You’ll learn ordering and inventory
- You’ll communicate to your team on performance, policies and pertinent issues
- You’ll serve as the store’s in-house nutrition expert and go-to wellness resource for staff and customers
- You’ll provide one-on-one support to customers with dietary needs, food allergies, or wellness goals
- You’ll curate and maintain nutrition-forward product selections, including healthy snacks, supplements, and specialty items

**About you**:

- You have 2 years of progressive experience in nutrition. Health and wellness. Retail wellness experience is an asset.
- You are passionate for healthy living, customer service, and community involvement
- You know how to guide and inspire your team to be their best at work
- You have the ability to explain complex nutritional information in a friendly, relatable way
- You’re efficient, organized, and enjoy working through challenges
- You’re comfortable managing inventory, scheduling, and store systems (POS, ordering, etc.).
- You’re physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing tasks that involve bending, reaching, and kneeling.
