**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate locating equipment to track the directional drill head in real-time.
- Guide drillers to maintain accurate paths and depths according to project plans.
- Monitor signal strength and adjust for environmental interferences.
- Collaborate with drillers and operators to ensure precise installations and avoid obstacles.
- Prepare reports on drilling progress and path accuracy.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with directional drill locating systems preferred; training available.
- Knowledge of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) techniques an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to interpret blueprints.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Availability for on-road work and varying conditions.
