Pick Line Sorter

**Summary**

The Pick line Sorter is a production line position in a manufacturing environment. Employees will work as part of a team to sort recyclable material from construction and demolition debris. This individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and growing team of individuals and will have the opportunity to work in numerous areas of a modern recycling facility. Must have own transportation or ability to get to the landfill site.

**Job Duties**:
Manually sort recyclable materials from construction and demolition debris from a conveyer belt

Cleaning of work area during down time and at end of shift

Perform assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner and abide by all Company policies and procedures

Responsible for reporting any damage to equipment and tools to Shift Supervisor

Communicate with fellow employees in the work area and shift supervisor via 2 way radio.

Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
English Language Fluent

Physical ability to pick items of a moving line

Able to work under pressure

Equipment and spatial awareness

Verbal Communication (use of two way radio communication required, training provided)

**The following certificates are not required but will be considered an asset**:
Constructive Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate

First Aid

Fall Protection

Confined Space Entry

**Work Conditions**:
Indoor environment

Constant standing, twisting and forward bending (stress mats provided)

Fast work pace

Constant hand activity (Griping, grasping, pushing, pulling, wrist rotation)

Dusty environment (Dust Masks required and training provided)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a group setting

Perform simple and repetitive tasks

**PPE Requirements**:
Steel Toe boots (not provided by company)

**Transportation Travel Information**:
No Public Transportation available.

**Hours & Availability**:
Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

All positions are eligible for overtime as required and approved by the Supervisor.

**Wage**: $18/hr

**Benefits**: Dental and Medical benefits provided after successfully completing three (3) month probationary period.
