**Position Overview**:
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organized **Team Operations Assistant** to support our team across HR and project coordination functions. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who’s equally comfortable handling people operations in the office and rolling up their sleeves to support logistics and scheduling.
**Key Responsibilities: HR Support (People Operations)**:
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for field and shop employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and certifications (safety tickets, licenses, etc.)
- Track training, safety compliance, and assist with documentation for audits
- Support timekeeping and payroll prep by gathering and verifying hours
- Help organize employee communications, wellness initiatives, and team events
- Respond to general HR inquiries and assist with policy implementation
**Project Coordination (Millwright & Heavy-Duty Repair)**:
- Assist project managers with scheduling crews and equipment
- Track project milestones, materials, and progress reports
- Help maintain job folders, work orders, and client documentation
- Coordinate logistics for tools, parts, and vendor deliveries
- Communicate with internal teams and field staff to ensure smooth workflow
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience in HR support, office administration, or project coordination
- Familiarity with trades or industrial environments (millwright, mechanical repair, etc.) is a strong asset
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working with both digital systems and hands-on paperwork
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$31.72 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
