We are currently hiring a Litigation Clerk to join our law office. At Atwood Labine LLP, our greatest strength lies in our experienced staff of lawyers, clerks, and assistants. Our full-service firm has been servicing clients in Thunder Bay and the surrounding region for over 45 years.
- Ideally, at least 2 years of experience as a law clerk or administrative assistant
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity and in compliance with legislation
- Flexibility and adaptability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, handle a fast-paced work environment, and respond to changing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with all levels of staff/lawyers and clientele

**The role includes some of the following responsibilities**:

- Prepare legal documents and affidavits
- Draft correspondence and perform administrative duties including file administration
- Manage lawyers’ schedule and handle correspondence to and from clients, other law offices, and Courts
- Oversight of client retainer, billing, and payment arrangements
- Assist lawyers in preparation for meetings, mediations, and court proceedings

Wage: Commensurate with experience

Pay: $1.00-$10,000,000.00 per year
