Overview of role and responsibilities

Seek out and engage with individuals on the street to identify and understand needs and services the individual requires.

Advocate on behalf of individuals to access shelters and/or other services.

Transport and/or refer individuals to appropriate services.

There will be paperwork duties and general clean up.

Successful applicants are required to

Have a class 5 Drivers license

Provide crimanal record check upon request

Provide references upon request

Have flexible schedule and be willing to pick up additional shifts should need be

Comply with AWACs policies and procedures

Communicate clearly while using professional, accessible launguage

Engage clearly with ALL individuals and agencies

Have similar experience, and passion for the field of work

**Salary**: From $21.63 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Outreach/working with the homeless population: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Driver Licence (required)

Work Location: One location
