- Responsibilities_
- Inspect and test fire alarm systems and other fire protection equipment
- Service, repair, and install various types of fire equipment
- Complete reports and documentation
- Communicate with our clients about the work being performed
- Maintain vehicle and tools provided to ensure performance
- Manage inventory of service vehicle
- Keep up-to-date with your training and industry knowledge
- Qualifications_
- CFAA registration as a Fire Alarm Technician or trainee
- At least 2 years experience in the fire protection industry
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license
Other Skills
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience testing sprinkler systems is an asset
- Attention to detail
- Problem Solving
The fire protection industry is a constantly evolving one that requires ongoing learning and training to stay up-to-date with current Standards, Codes, and practices. We support our employees with access to NFPA online and in-class training, as well as CFAA training support to those who qualify.
**Salary**: $52,000.00-$72,800.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Fire Protection: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CFAA Certificate (preferred)
- Driver's License (required)
