This will be a part time faculty position, working 6-12 hours per week depending on the semester's course load.
**Specific Accountabilities**:
- Provide instruction to students;
- Create a positive teaching and learning environment;
- Prepare and/or update lesson plans and provide instruction using a variety of teaching techniques and current technologies that enhance student success;
- Deliver courses in accordance with curriculum standards;
- Prepare, administer, and grade assignments, tests and examinations in a timely manner;
- Monitor student performance, maintain progress reports and encourage student success;
- Communicate with students in a timely manner;
- Follow the Academic Calendar and other policies and procedures for both Lambton College and OntarioLearn.
**Qualifications**:
- B. A. or B. Ed with Primary Specialization or Early Childhood Development preferred (IE: Child Studies or relevant area of study)
- ECE Diploma is required
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in an EarlyON Centre or a Licensed Child Care program
