Great shift flexibility - book the shifts that you want to work each week up to 44 hours (minimum 3 shifts per week) from the following, based on availability and time zone of each fundraiser:

- Weekdays:

- 12:30pm - 9:00pm EST
- 5:00pm - 9:00pm EST
- Weekends
- 12pm - 6pm

Fundraising staff are eligible for our group benefits program after passing the probationary period, when averaging a minimum of 18 hours per week.

Starting pay for employees processed through our Ontario office is $18.20/hr with regular pay steps based on total hours worked.

Performance bonuses that average $3.00 per hour across our staff. Top performers earn up to $7.00 per hour in bonus.

Differential of $2.50 per phone hour when calling in French

**What do we require?**
- A minimum of 1 year experience in telephone fundraising or outbound telephone sales
- This posting is Canada wide but excludes British Columbia which has a separate posting
- High school completion
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- A confident and clear speaking voice
- Fluency in spoken and written English and French
- Basic IT and strong data entry skills
- Self-motivation, ability to work independently
- Excellence in thinking on one’s feet, or improvisation (adapting to fast-paced call environments while remembering and implementing various instructions given during training)
- The confidence to ask for donations, and the ability to be sensitive and responsive to individual donors
- **You will need to have a private workspace, compatible computer, high speed internet and the ability to run an ethernet cable from your router to your private workspace**
- Applicants must be Canadian residents, legally allowed to work in Canada, and located within Canada
- A reference from your previous employer is required
- Passing a DBS background check is a requirement of employment
