Our client, a prominent company in the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. **Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional requirements, use cases, and process flows.
- Facilitate communication and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project objectives.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide support during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to analyze complex systems.
- Proven track record of successful delivery of IT projects, demonstrating strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Proficient in gathering and documenting requirements, creating use cases, and developing functional specifications.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, systems integration, and data management concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
