The ideal candidate is a passionate, highly analytical, personable, and goal-oriented individual who seeks to make significant positive contributions to the firm.What you will do:Work closely with business stakeholders to gain an understanding of their needs and to translate their needs to solution requirementsComplete required BSA deliverables within set timelines.Activities and deliverables may include:Conducting business process mapping, including live mapping sessions with business stakeholdersDocumenting solution requirements in the form of functional and non-functional documentsAssisting with the creation of vendor evaluation documents for procurement purposesCreating custom documents to meet ad hoc requests, e.g., governance process documents, disaster recovery plans, etc.Documenting data mapping and conversion rules for data migration projectsCommunicate requirements to interested parties e.g., technical and business stakeholdersMentor business systems analysts and other employees who are interested in learning more about the roleReview profiles of assigned projects to determine BSA scope of work and estimated work effortContribute to developing and maintaining processes, procedures, standards, and tools for the BSA serviceYour qualifications:5 - 7 years of experience in a business analyst or business systems analyst roleExtensive experience with business process mapping, process re-engineering and modelingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skillsExceptional interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, including the ability to create concise requirements and easy-to-follow process flow diagramsAbility to develop strong working relationships and to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders, and to forge consensus within a group of stakeholders, to deliver a solution that works for allKnowledge of agile methodology and the software development life cycle (SDLC)Familiarity with a project management environment dealing with end-user and infrastructure systems in a team-based environment with situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities and/or simultaneous demandsOur Values, The KPMG WayIntegrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what mattersKPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
