As an Account Executive for our customer experience solutions, your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage new prospects to promote and sell our cutting-edge customer experience solutions. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and effectively presenting and demonstrating our products and services. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The Account Executive - Customer Experience Solutions will report to the Sales Manager or Director of Sales.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prospect and generate leads: Identify and target new prospects through various channels, including research, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline: Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities, actively managing leads from initial contact to successful closure.
- Conduct sales presentations: Effectively present and demonstrate our customer experience solutions to potential clients, showcasing their benefits and addressing any concerns or objections.
- Understand client needs: Conduct thorough needs assessments and engage in consultative selling to understand clients' unique challenges and provide tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
- Develop and deliver proposals: Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, including pricing and contract negotiations, while ensuring alignment with the company's sales and profitability targets.
- Cultivate strong relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective client organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to provide market feedback, share insights, and ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously expand your knowledge of the customer experience industry, competitors, and emerging trends to effectively position our solutions in the marketplace.
- Meet sales targets: Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Create overall partner plans, to measure/drive success and business impact.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies
- Proven sales experience: Minimum of X years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in selling customer experience solutions or related software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Consultative selling approach: Experience in consultative selling, with the ability to uncover client needs and propose tailored solutions accordingly.
- Relationship-building skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Goal-oriented mindset: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Technical aptitude: Familiarity with customer experience technologies, CRM systems, and sales tools is preferred.
- Self-motivated and proactive: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
**Preferred Qualifications/Competencies**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in a B2B Account Management or Sales Consultant role.
- 5 years’ experience in the Contact Center or Telecommunications industry selling technical solutions.
- Business Enterprise and Process Knowledge.
- High degree of Business Acumen.
- Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
**Working Conditions**:
This position will primarily be office-based but may require occasional travel to meet with partners, clients or attend industry events.
**Salary and Benefits**:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and will include a competitive commission and bonus structure. Benefits package will be provided, including healthcare coverage, retirement plan, and vacation.
