**BLUEWATER DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD**
**for placement on the
**Office Professionals & Technicians (OPT) Casual Supply List
Members of the OPT Casual Supply List are primarily used to replace staff in school offices for
short-term daily supply or long-term temporary assignments. On occasion the supply list is used
to fill an absence or for a specific project in one of the administration offices: Bluewater District
School Board Education Centre in Chesley, or the Satellite Office in Hanover. Departments
include, but are not limited to: Accounting, Plant Services, Transportation, Purchasing, and
Information Communication Technology (ICT).
Interviews will be conducted at least every three months.
**Rate of pay**: $16.92 - $23.42/hour (Sept. 1/21)
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- A community college diploma or equivalent certification or experience
**Assets**:
- Knowledge of office procedures and the use of office equipment
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- A high aptitude for computer operations and skill in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g.,
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong problem solving, decision making and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with all files/issues
