**About Headstart Child & Family Therapy**
Headstart Child & Family Therapy is a mental health counselling clinic in Truro, Nova Scotia that is devoted to providing professional counselling services to children, adolescents and their families using developmentally appropriate modalities. Our clients range in ages from 3-18 years old and present with a variety of concerns including, but not limited to, attachment difficulties, emotional and behavioural challenges, autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, adoption and foster concerns, grief, trauma, self harm and social skills deficits. Our clinical team is passionate about furthering their professional development and creating effective treatment plans to meet the needs of our clients.
We are hiring for the role of Operations Manager as we seek to expand our offerings. Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing high level HR duties, analyzing and improving organizational processes, and working to improve quality, productivity and efficiency of the practice. You should be highly organized and self-motivated with great leadership and interpersonal skills.
**Operations Manager Responsibilities**
- Managing day-to-day operations of the practice.
- Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
- Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
- Assist with recruiting when necessary.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Monitoring inventory and placing orders for resupply.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory standards are upheld in the practice.
- Work with the clinical director to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Conducting regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
- Support communication with the clinical director.
**Operations Manager Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management or related field.
- Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among team members
- Excellent communication skills.
- Solid understanding of financial management.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
