Responsibilities:

- Support and participate in the implementation of the strategic health and safety action plan and risk management processes related to the company's activities and operations;
- Support all stations in their daily management of health and safety;
- Develop, administer and continuously improve health and safety prevention programs in order to support the company's orientations and reduce risks;
- Participates in the development, implementation and dissemination of health and safety training activities for managers and employees;
- Accompanies the managers of the different provinces and departments during the investigation and analysis of accidents and follows up on the corrective measures to be put in place;
- Build and update internal health and safety audits on all operations in Canada;
- Collaborates in the definition of performance indicators related to health and safety and in the development of a dashboard;
- Update and analyze performance indicators for operations and the service center;
- Conduct safety compliance audits to ensure standards are met, communicate safety performance indicators to managers;
- Manage the training of first aid employees and ensure that standards are maintained;
- Manage the training of OHS committee members and ensure that quorum standards are maintained;
- Follow up on the Occupational Health and Safety Committees;
- Conduct accident analysis and propose corrective actions;
- Maintain health and safety programs by ensuring that manuals, guides, presentations and other tools are maintained;
- Supervise the administrative follow-up of occupational injury files with the various federal and provincial authorities governing health and safety.
- Other related tasks to support the Human Resources Director in her various mandates.

Qualifications
- Completed university studies in human resources, industrial relations, occupational health and safety or in a discipline deemed relevant;
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety;
- Knowledge of the laws of the various provinces and the Canada Labour Code;
- Have a good understanding of occupational injury management;
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative and a strong sense of organization in his work;
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve problems, take initiative and follow up on projects;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken;
- Good command of common computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and knowledge of management systems an asset.
