What we are looking for:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Trade Administration and Operational Support, the Analyst, Trade Support, participates to receive, verify and transmit unitholder and market trades to external sources, including brokers, custodians and administrators. The Analyst, Trade Support also provides operational support to the Fiera Capital trading desk and client servicing areas. The main objective is to ensure all trades are settled on time and within industry standards while meeting client expectations.

Your responsibilities:
- Receive, verify and transmit Fiera Capital fund client and market trade transactions- Interact with the different client custodians ensuring all trades are reconciled and processed in their accounts- Interact with the Fiera Capital trading desk and broker community ensuring all trades across all asset classes are processed and settled on time- Compile and communicate to portfolio managers the cash balances for the different Fiera Capital funds- Report transactional statistics daily and ensure quality and accuracy across all systems- Assist the Supervisor with different administrative ad-hoc tasks as required
- Create innovative solutions to:_- Identify opportunities to improve process and procedures to meet industry best practices- Participate in different improvement initiatives as they relate to the trading and administration of Fiera Capital funds- Develop close relationships with the different external intermediaries to foster the integration of all client reporting- Participate in cross-functional integration teams to ensure all relevant integration tasks are completed

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commerce related field- Minimum 2-4 years experience in securities industry- Strong knowledge of and familiarity with investment management industry and funds administration; knowledge of the “lifecycle of a trade”- Strong analytical skills for problem resolution; thinking outside the box- Organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities- Results oriented with a strong capacity to work under pressure with tight deadlines while adapting to a changing environment- Excellent interpersonal and client servicing skills; team player- Ability to work independently and interact effectively in a group environment- Diligence, diplomacy and discretion to handle information which is confidential by nature- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; Fidessa, Eagle, Pacer, CTM not required but a plus- Bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written

For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Working English proficiency is also required in order to serve our offices and clients around the world.
