Stephano Group Ltd. is a family owned, Canadian food processing company. We are seeking a highly motivated Commercialization manager to join our growing team.
Founded in 1978, we are a private label, contract manufacturing company specializing in granola, oatmeal, bars and snack products. Our mission is to become a top producer of breakfast food and snacks while operating a sustainable business and providing enriching careers for our team.
We are looking for a commercialization manager to join us in our mission, and support the company’s product development, sales and marketing efforts. The Commercialization manager will serve as a cross-functional liaison between external and internal stakeholders to support the execution of all new product commercialization projects.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for coordination and integrity of product commercialization projects.
- Compiles and provides information required by a customer and internal stakeholders for successful product commercialization.
- Liaise with customers and their R&D/QA team on an ongoing basis to ensure new products meets outlined specification and quality standards.
- Assist in packaging design, development and implementation of customer projects, based on customer and manufacturing requirements.
- Oversees data integration and integrity across various departments and platforms
- Establishes strong communication channels by partnering with cross-functional teams to establish transparency of project scope, objectives and expectations.
- Assists in the development of new formulations and supports sample making when required.
- Solves project constraints with key business leaders by providing information on the project progress, deadline conflicts, missing information, and project backlogs.
- Develops and implement product commercialization procedures, including the completion and implementation of SOPs and related forms and documents.
- Reviews current commercialization process mapping to identify areas of opportunity and provide continuous improvement solutions.
- Identifies and analyzes information to give early indications of commercialization challenges for new products.
- Participates in the execution of trials and first production runs for all new products.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven experience in commercialization management or related roles
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Solid understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior
- Good practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and performs duties with a sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of food packaging equipment an asset.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
