We have an HR Assistant position that has become available, offering great challenges and the opportunity to play a vital role in our growth by assisting with the hiring of new employees.

**Main Job Duties**

The HR Assistant will be responsible for executing key tasks across the full recruitment lifecycle, and providing critical administrative support, including:

- Preparing and posting detailed job advertisements.
- Shortlisting and screening resumes against role requirements.
- Completing thorough reference checks.
- Preparing and issuing official job offers.
- Maintaining accurate digital and physical employee records and files.
- Processing general HR paperwork for onboarding and employee status changes.
- Support monthly employee events.

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and administration skills.
- Awesome knowledge of recruiting methods and practices.
- Working knowledge of the BC Employment Standards Act.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Qualifications**: Post-secondary education, a certificate or diploma in Human Resources.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years working knowledge of the full recruiting cycle.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered a significant asset.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
