BUOY6 (1-800-GOT-JUNK?) is growing As part of our exciting and ambitious growth strategy, which includes the acquisition and development of additional franchises, we are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to join our new Toronto head office team. This is an outcome-oriented position, fundamental to the success of our operations.

**Who We Are**

**Position Purpose**
The Recruitment Manager will report to the Director of People and Culture while leading a team of recruiters and ensuring our multiple 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchises (19 to be exact) across North America are set up for success. The Recruitment Manager is responsible for managing a high-volume recruitment process which includes building strong applicant pipelines through sourcing, pre-screening, and franchise interview scheduling. Your team of 4 - 6 recruiters will maintain a talent pipeline to meet and exceed the staffing forecast throughout the year. Focus and determination are critical to ensure the franchise meets its staffing goals to have the business run smoothly.

**Compensation Range**: $60,000-$80,000/yr depending on experience

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Strategies**
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process across multiple (currently 19) franchises, ensuring the hiring of top talent that aligns with company culture and values.
- Collaborate with franchise senior management to align strategies with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Accountable for achieving staffing (FTE) targets.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions.

**Performance Management**
- Oversee the Recruitment team's overall and individual performance.
- Provide support and coaching to all recruiters to ensure positive outcomes and identify growth opportunities.

**HR Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and human rights regulations are met throughout the recruitment process; including job ads, screening calls, and franchise-level interviews

**Budget Management**
- Manage and coach recruiters appropriately to maintain the monthly/yearly budget allocated to each franchise, ensuring that expenses align with the company’s overall financial objectives.

**Metrics Reporting**
- Review, analyze, and consult on Recruitment metrics (Headcount and FTE goals, Monthly turnover)
- Prepare for and participate in weekly accountability meetings with the Director of People & Culture. Provide recruitment activity reports, weekly goal-setting and plans, and review learnings
- Conduct weekly meetings with individual recruiters for alignment and accountability

**Culture Setting / Team Communication**
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee and team engagement and satisfaction. Develop and implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee morale, recognition, and work-life balance.
- Ensure all Recruitment communications and documentation are clear, concise, and effective

**Stay up-to-date** with the latest USA and Canadian recruitment/employment culture trends and best practices, conduct market studies to ensure alignment with the evolving recruitment market, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications include**:

- BSc/BA in business, HR, social sciences, or a related field preferred
- 2-4 years in a similar high-volume, general labour workforce (agency experience is an asset)
- 5-7 years of Recruitment experience with a positive team culture
- Experience leading high-volume full-cycle talent acquisition
- Knowledge of Canadian and USA HR policies, processes, and best practices is an asset
- Working knowledge of a robust ATS; CATSOne is a plus
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of employees
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and hold team members accountable
